Justin Kendall from Life Is Just A Fantasy… Basketball Blog
The Portland Trailblazers’ All-Star guard Brandon Roy has missed the last three games with a knee injury, and no one’s sure when he’ll return. Yahoo Sports reported that Roy’s knee difficulties are only obtaining worse, and Roy doesn’t have a meniscus in either knee, according to The Oregonian. No one’s positive when Roy — who is owned in 98 percent of Yahoo leagues — will return, and if he does, how long he’ll last. So I can’t figure out why Wesley Matthews is only owned in 44 percent of leagues. Matthews has been an superb understudy, blowing up in his 1st begin with a multi-cat line: 30 points, five threes, three rebounds, three assists, two steals along with a block in 43 minutes. In his second start, he double-doubled (20 points and 10 rebounds with 3 three-pointers, a steal and two blocks). He’s proven to be a great insurance policy for the Blazers. Fantasy owners really should follow suit.
